IMECC Portal Instructions
A step-by-step guide for trainees: how to enroll through the IMECC Moodle Bridge, how to pay for your course, and how to start your training on the IMECC Portal.
How to enroll through the IMECC Moodle Bridge
For new trainees who have never trained at IMECC before.
Prepare these first
- An active email address (it will be used for your training account) and your mobile number.
- A clear photo of your Seaman's Book or Passport (required).
- A 2x2 picture (optional, you can send it later; it is printed on your certificate).
- For STCW courses: Medical certificate / FEME, COP BT, SRN number and your MISMO username. We never ask for your MISMO password.
Files must be JPG, PNG or PDF, maximum 5 MB each. On a phone, take the photos with your camera first, then tap Choose File and pick them from your Gallery or Files.

Open the Trainee Application form
Message our Facebook page and ask for the link to the Trainee Application form of the IMECC Moodle Bridge.

Fill in your details
Complete every field marked with *: personal information, contact details, rank, and proof of identity. Emergency contact and company details are optional.

Choose your training login
In Your Moodle login, choose the username and password you will use on the IMECC Portal.
- Username: 8 to 16 characters, letters and numbers only.
- Password: at least 8 characters, with an uppercase letter, a lowercase letter, a number and a special character.
Write them down. For your security, our staff cannot see your password.

Tick the boxes and submit
If the course is STCW, tick "This application is for STCW training" and upload the extra documents. Read and tick the Data Privacy Notice, then press Submit application.

Send your reference number
You will receive a reference number that looks like APP-123. Send it to our Facebook page together with the course you want to attend. Keep this number until your enrollment is complete.
How to pay
Wait for our staff to confirm your course, schedule and fee before paying.
Company charge
Your manning agency or company pays for the training. Tell our staff the name of your company so we can bill them.
Deduction onboard
The fee is deducted from your salary onboard, as arranged with your company. Our staff will confirm the arrangement with you.
Cash payment
Pay at the IMECC cashier and keep your official receipt. Your enrollment in the online course is released once the cashier records your payment.
For other payment options, message our Facebook page or email us. Only pay through the accounts our staff give you.
How to start your training
Once your application is approved and your payment is recorded, our staff enroll you and let you know through Messenger.

Go to the IMECC Portal
Click IMECC Portal at the top of this website, or open it directly:

Log in
Use the username and password you chose on the application form. If our staff sent you a temporary password, change it after you sign in.

Open your course
Go to My courses and open your course. Work through the lessons and activities in order and complete the assessments.

Finish and get your certificate
IMECC prepares your certificate after you complete the course and pass the assessment. Your 2x2 picture on file is printed on it, so send it if you have not yet. We will tell you when your certificate is ready.
Common problems
- I forgot my password.
- Message our Facebook page. Our staff can reset it and send you a temporary password.
- My course is not in "My courses".
- Your enrollment may not be complete yet. Cash payments are enrolled after the cashier records the payment. Message us with your APP reference number.
- The form says I already have a record with IMECC.
- You have trained with us before or already applied. Do not apply again; just message our Facebook page with the course you want.
